Laundry room remodel: Day 4
Big day today! Michael pulled out all the stops and his DIY knowledge and put in baseboards and cabinets. It was very time consuming but we’re very pleased with the way it came out, especially since the cabinets are still on the wall. Unfortunately with the new lightbulbs and everything more or less in place, the spots that really need paint touch-ups can’t hide. But we’ll leave that for Monday.

Today we painted the ceiling, some trim, and put in a new floor. Vying with the floor for biggest impact was the 2 new lightbulbs we put in.

Laundry Room: Day 2
Kirby also wound up with a coat of cool sheets because we had a flash thunderstorm and he busted open the door and into the tightest space he could find. Unfortunately that was right between the washer and the still-wet wall. Then we had to make sure he stayed *in* the room so as not to track more paint through the rest of the house. Think we can rent him out as a mascot?
